3D Renderings For Visualization of Design

I recently made some upgrades to my architectural drafting program Chief Architect and I am in love! The benefit that this brings to my clients is immeasurable. It gives them knowledge of what the project will entail and what it will be once complete.

It is hard for many people to visualize a space so 3D drawings are extremely important. Hand drafting will always be a great “go to” but computer drafting programs have so many improved ways to demonstrate the design. You can actually “walk” a client through a room….You can view it from many different angles, zoom in and focus on certain areas, all from one drawing! It saves so much time over hand drafting numerous drawings of different views and elevations of the room. I have used this program for drafting for years and it is what I was taught in design school but I am loving the new catalogue additions! Check out some of the spaces I have been working with!
